Flion’s innovative VOXER service and ModernPath’s technical development expertise demonstrated their functionality at the hackathon held during the Sote ATK-päivät. VOXER won in two different categories.
Flion’s deep expertise in the social and health care sector and visionary insight into future digital services were combined with ModernPath’s high-level technical capabilities. During two days of intense development work, we implemented a new evolutionary step for the VOXER service, making it fully compatible with global standards (SMART App Launch and FHIR). As a result, VOXER can now be seamlessly integrated into social care client processes and the daily workflows of professionals.

The victory was secured because VOXER is not just a technical tool; thanks to Flion’s industry expertise, it addresses the real, complex needs and requirements of the social care sector. The innovative and standards-compliant implementation impressed the juries, and VOXER won the challenges in two separate categories:
The juries recognized the solution from both the client and professional perspectives. For clients, VOXER is accessible, easy to understand, and supports individual agency, while the use of AI remains transparent. For professionals, the benefits include a situational overview generated from the client’s narrative, as well as support for structured documentation.
Thanks to this evolutionary leap, VOXER will soon be ready for wide-scale adoption. Through the Apotti and SuomiSote ecosystems, the service can be easily deployed to cover over 60% of the social care sector in Finland. This improves the client experience for hundreds of thousands of people and significantly increases productivity in professional workflows.
The standards-compliant implementation also ensures VOXER is equipped for international scaling as part of the global Epic ecosystem.
